Some people find cars. I find stories – hidden chapters of motorsport, rusted, wrecked, almost forgotten. 

Beneath layers of dust and patina, they lay dormant: true Alpine race cars, scarred by hill climbs, rally stages 

and the brutal reality of racing. No gloss. No showroom shine.

Just wrecks – once living legends, then left to transformation or decay.

I searched for them – deliberately, with detective-like precision and burning passion. But in the end, it seems 

they found me, rather than vise versa. Found me, so they could live again, to tell their stories once more.

I was looking for racing cars with real history, for authentic examples, still pulsing with the heartbeat of the starting line.

But I was equally drawn to untouched street versions – authentic, unspoiled and true to their origin.

They whisper of a time when Alpine was still an insider’s secret – raw, fast, and uncompromisingly beautiful.

In the alpineSTARS section, I reveal what became of these discoveries. Each vehicle was restored by my own hands – 

with deep respect for its history, a love for detail and the goal of staying as true as possible to the original.

You won’t find replicas here, no fantasy builds, no customizing – only genuine Alpines, just as Jean Rédélé once created them, brought back to the road, brought back to life.
